    Job Description:

    We are looking for a high-performing and motivated Sales Executive/Business Development Manager who will be responsible for directing sales efforts to expand our client's customer base by contacting prospective clients and expanding business with existing clients. Business Development Manager will be developing strategic plans and marketing programs to increase company's revenues and profitability. As well as generating new business and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded across all lines of business.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for effectively securing new customers and account acquisitions as well as maintaining and developing existing accounts.
    • Promote the services and products of all entities and coordinate sales efforts with other department sales.
    • Analyze and conduct research on potential clients that have a need for our services and educate customers about our shipping solutions.
    • Generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers– including follow up on concerns or other issues.
    • Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
    • Consults and develops strategies with potential customers through phone, virtual, and in-person meetings on transportation.
    • Develop, facilitate and negotiate the proposal pricing process and rate agreements to customers.
    • Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
    • Provide documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

    Requirements:

    • At least 2+ years of sales experience in logistics/supply chain and transportation industry
    • Strong work ethic and competitive nature with energetic and outgoing personality
    • Goal-driven and self-starter personality motivated for sales with strong leadership and training skills.
    • Outstanding entrepreneurial and negotiating skills at closing deals and cold-calls.
    • Superior customer relation skills, excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.
    • Sound organizational, records management and time management skills, plus excellent attention to detail.
    • The ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities, meet assigned deadlines, and manage related stress.
    • Computer knowledge- working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
    • Proven track record of sales and book-of-business
