    Here's how an Estimator for our BC Region office contributes to our team:

    Conducts detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications to determine and validate overall project requirements.

    Ensures the completion of full quantity take-offs of all labor, equipment, and materials from project documents and identifies missing information.

    Conducts risk and opportunity analysis by reviewing all bid related documents and utilizing project and industry knowledge.

    Assists with bid document control by documenting, organizing, and archiving all information relating to the estimate for successful transfer to the project team.

    Coordinates with internal departments and external stakeholders to create site logistics, a schedule, an execution plan, and project budget requirements.

    Bachelor's degree or diploma in related discipline or trade experience or equivalent.
    ~8 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating, and 6-12 months of on-site experience is preferred.
    ~ planning, scheduling, sequencing, quality, safety, and timelines.
    ~ Experience estimating multiple scopes, with the capability of building conceptual estimates.
    ~ Working knowledge of estimating software, advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite and a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
