Description
Certified Sales & Rentals is currently recruiting to fulfill a Business Coordinator Summer Student role. Our diverse Group of Companies consists of Northern Strands, Fortis Mining Engineering & Manufacturing, and Certified Sales & Rentals.

The Business Coordinator Summer Student performs administrative duties requiring initiative, independence and confidentiality in areas of project administration across multiple divisions as required.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Organization of file systems as needed
  • Processing data
  • Provide backup for other administrative positions when sick or on vacation
  • Administration including generation of reports
  • Aiding in the improvements in processes as needed across the company
  • Inventory management
  • Clerical support
  • Client liaison as needed
  • Coordinating with various departments to improve their flow of work
  • Aiding the Business Manager in planning and problem solving
  • Assist in developing methods for tracking and reporting on specific data
  • Update and maintain accuracy of data
  • Analyzing workflow and identifying where improvements can be made to increase efficiency
  • Assist in development of forms relating to corporate policies

Basic Requirements:


  • Ability to commence fulltime (40 hours/week) work from the beginning of May until the end of August;
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
  • Strong time
- management skills;

  • Ability to communicate clearly;
  • Ability to multitask;
  • Ability to prioritize;
  • Ability to understand and follow directions;
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Work well alone or in a team setting;
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite is considered an asset.
