RAPS is Seeking a Support Worker for a Young Individual who Experienced a Stroke (S33)_

-
Location:_SW Edmonton (Cameron Heights)_

-
Hours/Days: Every other week _(approx. 60 hours per week); training will begin June 16-June 22. Regular shifts below will commence June 19._

  • Every other week (approx. 60 hours per week)_
  • Monday-Thursday 4:00pm10:30pm_
  • Friday 5:00pm10:30pm_
  • Saturday & Sunday 8:00am10:30pm_

Rate of Pay:_$25.25/hour_

- _Duties include but are not limited to transfers (one person assisted), suppositories, personal care, life skills, ROM exercises, medication administration, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, documentation, supporting on outings, supervision, and companionship._

Please Note: 1 dog and 1 cat in home

Qualifications and Other Requirements:_ _Recent criminal record check including the vulnerable sector, non-smoker, driver's license & vehicle, physically fit (able to do one person assisted transfers and walking for 150lb female), good communication skills. Previous experience with brain injuries is an asset._
