WHAT WE OFFER

OBJECTIVE


Reporting to the VP, Corporate Quality, the Product Integrity & QA Manager is accountable for designing, developing, and implementing the company's product integrity processes & systems.

They will be expected to collaborate with product, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to incorporate product integrity requirements in a sustainable and scalable way.


The Product Integrity & QA Manager is tasked with defining and promoting a quality mindset cross-functionally, being responsible for managing the Product Integrity team of Quality Engineers and Supplier Quality Engineers and working with cross-departmental leadership to deliver high quality products on schedule.

The Product Integrity & QA Manager ensures the establishment and maintenance of a quality system that ensures the company's facilities, equipment, personnel, methods, processes, and procedures conform to both internal guidelines and regulatory standards.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Integrity & QA

  • Develop product integrity & QA strategy and key initiatives to enhance our internal and external processes as well as brand quality standards.
  • Ensures the Product Integrity & QA team contributes to seasonal gotomarket (GTM) work by assessing and approving new products against brand quality standards.
  • Developing KPI's and dashboards to measure, monitor and review the GTM work, progress and results related to product risks, quality, and fulfillment,
  • Develop seasonal quality plans that incorporate new product risk assessment results, CriticaltoQuality (CtQ) analysis as well as vendor qualification and readiness to mitigate potential quality issues in bulk,
  • Supporting quality issue resolution by providing technical expertise, root cause analysis and resolutions

Supplier Quality

  • Ensures Supplier Quality contribution to location of manufacturing (LOM) decision process by providing vendor capabilities and performance insight.
  • Deploying onboarding programs, including training and auditing to strengthen the bulk readiness of manufacturing processes and standards of new vendors.
  • Guiding and reviewing the recurring vendor auditing program of quality process and systems, and when necessary, initiating and supervising vendor improvement programs.
  • Establishing KPI's, scorecards and dashboards to measure, monitor and review vendor qualifications and performance.

Regulatory Affairs & Compliance

  • Evolving protocols to ensure product declarations are validated and conform to legislation where applicable (functional and sustainable).
  • Implementing company Quality Management System (QMS) and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Monitoring global regulatory environments for changing or emerging regulations and categories to support proactive fulfilment of endtoend product compliance.
  • Updating and improving business process documentation and workflows.
  • Reviewing functionality of our systems to support data integrity.

General

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • 7+ years' proven successful Quality experience with clearly defined and measurable success indicators. Quality experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years' experience in leading a team of Quality Specialists
  • Experience and ability to lead and implement a cultural change to an integrated management system and a firsttime right approach.
  • Handson working knowledge of ISO 9001, plus familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 4500
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and/or equivalent related work experience.
  • Professional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus.
  • Experience and ability to deal with difficult people and situations. Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with various echelons within the organization as well as with external suppliers and customers.
  • Direct and proven successful skills in technical understanding, promoting process improvement, developing standards, and managing processes and procedures.
  • Experience using PLM and ERP systems, document control systems and MS Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
