Outdoor Recreation Counsellor

DUTIES

The City of Mount Pearl's Recreation & Community Safety Department is seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic individuals to work in our canoeing and kayaking program.

The Outdoor Recreation Counsellor must be comfortable working outdoors, Must possess strong communication and customer service skills. Must be available days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 30 by
June 14, 2024.
Experience or certification in some or all of the following activities: Canoeing/Kayaking, Wilderness Survival, and Archery;

National Lifeguard Certificate or other Aquatic certifications would be an asset;

Valid First Aid Certification;

Code of Conduct with Vulnerable Sector Check - Valid within the past 6 months;

Must be comfortable in an aquatic setting.
