Summary

The Production Closer is responsible for utilizing DSI (scanning system) to track and close production orders to ensure proper inventory reconciliation.

Also responsible for inter-branch transfers.

Responsibilities:

Operating RF Scanners; closing work orders, inventory reconciliation, complete scan to truck functions.
Able to identify discrepancies between work in process & finished goods.
Palletizing finished goods.
Organize and be responsible for the drop zone location.
Work with the replenishment team to communicate when finished goods are ready to be put away.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Support and follow internal health and safety programs and protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Secondary school diploma or higher.
23 year's experience working in a distribution center.
Working knowledge of JDE Oracle is an asset.
Communication skills written, verbal and ability to read and understand internal documents.
Experience using a pump truck considered an asset.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
