This clinical research position is within the Department of Supportive Care at The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, with additional responsibilities at the Hospital for Sick Children, both in Toronto, ON.
(i) Longitudinal quantitative and qualitative studies assessing physical and psychological distress (including depression, traumatic stress, physical symptom burden, etc.) in patients with advanced cancer or acute leukemia and distress in their family caregivers; And/or (ii) randomized controlled trials evaluating the effectiveness of an individualized psychosocial and palliative care intervention designed to help patients manage the challenges of acute leukemia, and an psychosocial intervention to support their family caregivers. Study recruitment for these and other team projects takes place in some of the busiest outpatient clinics and inpatient units at The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).

Duties
As a Clinical Research Coordinator I, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team and be responsible for and/or assist with the following tasks:
- Data entry, coding, scoring and statistical analysis of data (under the supervision of the PIs and a statistical consultant);
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (minimum); researchrelated Master's degree in a health sciences or related field strongly preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical and/or professional experience required (at least 1 year of clinical research experience strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational, time management and problemsolving skills required
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Selfmotivated with welldeveloped leadership skills
- Ability to multitask & perform in a fastpaced environment
- Strong project coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with participant recruitment, consent and questionnaire administration; qualitative interview experience would be an asset
- Experience with data management software, database setup (e.g. REDCap), data entry, data management preferred
- Statistical skills and experience using statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS or R) preferred
- Experience with qualitative interviewing, coding, and analysis would be an asset
- Previous experience working in cancerrelated research and/or with medically ill patients and their family caregivers would be an asset
