International Point of Care is an Etobicoke, ON-based company specializing in the area of rapid point-of-care.

We develop, manufacture, and supply unique biological reagents, raw materials, and lateral flow components for the in-vitro diagnostic industry and the research and development community.

Our expanding team is currently looking for production workers to perform various manufacturing duties in the process where we manufacture freeze-dried reagent beads, and assemble and package medical devices.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Associate Director, LBR Manufacturing. Performing manufacturing activities of both internal and customer-related projects (medical devices, RUO products).

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field is required.
Knowledge of techniques in a biotechnology discipline or lab reagent manufacturing experience
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently.
Greater than 3 years experience working in Reagent Manufacturing preferred
Excellent organization and time management skills

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Prepares Lyophilized Beads Reagentspecific solutions for nonmolecularbased products following Standard operating procedures.
Prepares Lyophilized Beads Reagentspecific solutions for molecularbased products following Standard operating procedures.
Follow all necessary precautions for gowning and cleaning for the manufacture of molecularbased products.
Help maintain lab inventory of consumables and update ERP inventory systems for raw materials as required.
Operates and maintains general lab equipment.
Works in conjunction with QA and other associated departments
