    MacEwan University is seeking a FIMS and Property Management Administrator for a full-time continuing opportunity with the Infrastructure Planning and Management department.

    The FIMS and Property Management Administrator is responsible for functional duties of FIMS, property management and will provide IT resources as required.

    They will manage work orders and preventative maintenance; space and key management; project requests; and will provide reports and data analysis.

    This position plays a key role in MacEwan Property Management by managing lease agreements with tenants.

    They will be operating as the key point of contact for tenants in MacEwan commercial properties and managing contracted services.

    Managing the day-to-day operations of FIMS (Facilities Information Management System, also known as, Computerized Maintenance Management System - CMMS).

    Providing FIMS technical solutions to the various departments and escalating issues to consultants.
    Administering user accounts for both internal and external users with security permissions.
    Maintaining and updating lease records for each property.
    Developing and executing leases, including reporting on lease expirations.
    Coordinating maintenance and tenant improvement projects across properties.
    Ensuring contractors and service providers adhere to agreed-upon scopes of work.
    Utilizing in-depth knowledge of SharePoint and/or other systems for documentation purposes.
    Offering expertise and insights to assist with Facilities IT support as needed.
    Providing back-up support to the Facilities Support Centre as needed.
    Providing back-up support to the Director of Operations and Maintenance (FIMS and Property Management) as needed.
    An understanding of facility and program management.
    Strong technical knowledge and ability to define and develop requirements.
    Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
    A strong understanding of property management responsibilities and requirements.
    A minimum of a bachelor's degree or certification in Computer Information Science and/or Business Administration.
    Project Management certification, Property/facility Management certification or designation, ITIL Fundamentals would be considered an asset.
    A minimum of four (4) years of experience in IT software/hardware support.
