THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Sr.

Manager Customer Services and Logistics, the Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory movements across all facilities, and championing collaborative communication with Planning, QA, Customer Service, Distribution and Logistics teams to ensure we meet customer demand aligned with our strategic business objectives.


  • Coordinate inventory movements between production and storage/warehouse facilities to ensure appropriate finished goods inventory levels are maintained to support demand
  • Execute, monitor, and report on inventory movements and adjustments across multiple facilities, including supporting movements of raw materials as required
  • Weekly validation and reconciliation of inventories in multiple facilities across multiple ERP / reporting systems
  • Coordinate HPP requirements with service provider and issue/modify purchase orders for finished goods
  • Analyze inventory reports (expiry, upcoming shortages, etc.) to identify risks or errors, and communicate with key stakeholders (QA, Planning, Customer Service, Logistics) to implement timely solutions
  • Receiving of Purchase Orders into 3rd party warehouse facilities
  • Develop, maintain, and report on key performance indicators for finished goods inventory:
I. Overstock inventory (WHS 99)

II. Days on hand

III. Adjustments

IV. Others as needed

  • General responsibilities of coordinating inventory counts and reviewing reports to ensure inventory levels are accurate in ERP system(s)
  • Spot check physical inventory as required
  • Daily reconciliation of available vs. On-Hold finished goods inventories
  • Coordinate Logistics for various inventory movements
  • Support annual inventory count and audit process at Piller's DC
  • Support RMA process, monitoring On-Hold inventories
  • Cross train with other functional areas to provide support as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-Secondary education in a Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations or related field, and/or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in a food processing environment
  • Experience using ERP systems and reports in a manufacturing environment
  • Exceptionally detailoriented, with a proven ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy
  • A highly motivated, selfstarter with excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote)
