NWI Precision is currently seeking
a Maintenance Custodian

The
Maintenance Custodian role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing common areas including production, offices, and lunchrooms, while also ensuring the replenishment of essential supplies.

The position includes handyman duties like minor plumbing repairs and assisting with event setups and heavy item relocation within the facility as well maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks which includes sweeping, mopping, dusting and wiping down surfaces in the production areas, offices,and lunchroom.
Provide assistance with moving disposable item, and maintain a tidy clean environment in lunchrooms, break areas, locker rooms, etc.
Sanitize washrooms, lunchrooms and other common areas regularly replenishing supplies such as soap and toilet paper and ensuring these areas are hygienic.
Working knowledge of handyman responsibilities and able to repair minor plumbing and drain issues.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Assist with set up and tear down of internal company events, moving of heavy items to various areas within the office buildings.
Fulfill various custodial responsibilities throughout the facility.
Comply with all mandated health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Other duties related to maintaining an organized and tidy work area in both the plant and office areas.

Requirements:

High School Diploma
Previous experience in a cleaningand custodial role, is an asset
Experience working in manufacturing environment
Experience with general maintenance within an office area.
Comfortable lifting up to 35lbs
