The Opportunity:

Core Responsibilities:

Lead all Parts Procurement related tasks, such as identifying parts and materials needed for various groups within the organization
Request and compare quotes from appropriate suppliers, place orders, and monitor delivery schedules, oversee parts distribution and it's coordination
Responsible for the accurate, and uptodate inventory records for all parts and materials, with a dedicated focus on inventory control measures used to reduce waste and overstock
Demonstrate exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills used to establish and maintain positive relationships, addressing any issues or concerns related to product quality or delivery
Collaborate with both the maintenance department, and the supply chain team to fulfill their respective needs, providing timely support and assistance as required
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations while assisting in the safe storage and handling of parts and materials

Qualifications:

Journeyperson Parts, or Materials Technician Certification is strongly preferred, but not a requirement. Applicants with strong Industry experience, or specialization in our areas of focus will be considered

Commercial truck and trailer parts experience is a significant asset. Applicants with strong, existing vendor relationships will be prioritized
Proven experience in parts procurement, inventory management, or a similar role is required; knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices is advantageous
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software is required
Excellent communication, and negotiation skills are required to create, maintain, or improve relationships with various stakeholders outside and within the organization
Occasional travel to other Sanjel districts is expected; a reliable vehicle and clean drivers abstract is required
