The Opportunity:
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead all Parts Procurement related tasks, such as identifying parts and materials needed for various groups within the organization
- Request and compare quotes from appropriate suppliers, place orders, and monitor delivery schedules, oversee parts distribution and it's coordination
- Responsible for the accurate, and uptodate inventory records for all parts and materials, with a dedicated focus on inventory control measures used to reduce waste and overstock
- Demonstrate exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills used to establish and maintain positive relationships, addressing any issues or concerns related to product quality or delivery
- Collaborate with both the maintenance department, and the supply chain team to fulfill their respective needs, providing timely support and assistance as required
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations while assisting in the safe storage and handling of parts and materials
Qualifications:

Journeyperson Parts, or Materials Technician Certification is strongly preferred, but not a requirement. Applicants with strong Industry experience, or specialization in our areas of focus will be considered
- Commercial truck and trailer parts experience is a significant asset. Applicants with strong, existing vendor relationships will be prioritized
- Proven experience in parts procurement, inventory management, or a similar role is required; knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices is advantageous
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software is required
- Excellent communication, and negotiation skills are required to create, maintain, or improve relationships with various stakeholders outside and within the organization
- Occasional travel to other Sanjel districts is expected; a reliable vehicle and clean drivers abstract is required
