About the Opportunity
Summary
Duties and responsibilities:
As a practicum student, your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the program you will be placed within, however, it will also include, but is not limited to:
- A shown commitment to learning new things and receiving constructive feedback
- Gaining insight into how your theoretical knowledge will be applied practically
- Engaging collaboratively with participants, coworkers and supervisors
- Sharing ideas and thoughts with your onsite supervisor to provide more efficient service delivery of our programs
- Complete the postpracticum evaluation
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Participant must be a student in a recognized and accredited educational institution
Conditions for acceptance
- Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C, or willingness to obtain;
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, a clear Child Abuse Registry check with acceptable Prior Contact checks, and a clear Adult Abuse Registry check, all done within the last 3 months;
Position status:
Full-time or part-time - dependent on required practicum program hours. We will only be accepting practicums from September to April yearly.

Work Location:
Varies based on the program, potential locations include within Winnipeg, St. Pierre Jolys and Thompson, MB.
