Job Overview:


This position works as part of MEMS Project Services Support Group and has a key role in project execution through scheduling staff and updating project information in the ERP.


Location:
Sherwood Park, Saskatoon, Grande Prairie, and Calgary

As a Scheduling and Project Technical Support, you will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling staff to execute project tasks and meet project and client requirements. Scheduling is to be completed in accordance with MEMS scheduling practices and to meet MEMS expectations in regard to safety, corporate and financial objectives.
  • Integrating information regarding different portfolios of work with corporate direction provided on priorities to identify optimization opportunities, specifically considering work type, location and risk.
  • Communicating with MEMS Project Managers and field staff to understand project requirements and advise of scheduling changes, this including attending and contributing in client team and project management/execution meetings, as appropriate.
  • Maintaining an understanding of Project staff competencies and limitations.
  • Completing regular reviews of key project information and working with MEMS Project Managers to ensure that project data in MEMS ERP is accurate.
  • Conducting analyses of Project information to support reporting; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

  • Knowledge and experience working in a consultancy environment would be an asset.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, working with database/software would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with the environmental site assessment process is an asset.
  • Highly developed analytical skills, sound judgment, and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Must have a valid Class 5 License.
  • Applicable postsecondary education required.
