The Toronto office has an opening for an Intermediate Hydraulic Modeler to join their Municipal Conveyance team.

Duties:

Develop hydraulic/hydrologic models for the water/ wastewater/ stormwater systems.
Perform infrastructure assessment/planning studies including Environmental Assessments (EA), Master Plans, Basement flooding, capacity analysis, Flood risk assessments, etc.
Work in a team environment on a variety of projects that would include model build and system analysis to assess system performance and use the model to develop solutions and strategies for improvement.
Support various groups across the company with hydraulic modeling and analysis and develop models to determine sound solutions for various private and municipal projects and clients.
Assist with proposal development including writeup, project schedule, and fee estimation for modeling and associated engineering works.
Perform necessary modeling tasks to support the design teams.
Provide technical guidance to junior staff in performing their tasks.
Prepare technical memorandums/ reports.
Perform any other technical tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field, from an accredited postsecondary institution.
Licensed Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario or eligible to obtain the license within the next 1 year
57 years of progressive experience in water, wastewater, stormwater systems modeling and analysis
Aptitude for meeting schedule and budgets, proposal writing, and client development.
Proven capabilities in planning and writing reports and other technical documents.
Possess a strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
Hands on experience in InfoWorks and/or InfoWater.
Working knowledge of GIS tools.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
