Planners are a key component in ensuring customer satisfaction. ET Transport has two main terminals with warehousing facilities and an additional drop-yard.


Qualifications
-
Must have at least 3 years of cross-border planning experience
-
Must have experience with the following: LoadLink, PC Miler, DAT, Dispatch Software,

  • Be available after hours (oncall rotation)
  • Fluent in English, bilingual is an asset
  • Team player in a fast paced environment
  • Strong ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate over the phone
  • Be persuasive and energetic
  • Help resolve all issue that arise including, and not limited to, issues with: drivers, customers, dispatchers, customs, and load booking
  • Monitor and direct the dispatch team, at all times, to improve performance
  • Implement new rules and procedures within dispatch and operations
  • Train and direct new dispatch staff
  • Looking for loads, FTL, LTL, crossborder
  • Fully planning and dispatching (outbound and inbound) Van/Reefer division trucks
  • Coordinating and managing driver runs and schedules
  • Maintaining accurate data entry and records related to all planning on the "Planning Board"
  • Overseeing and reviewing Driver and Owner/Operator pay
  • Afterhours dispatch via telephone as needed
  • Prepare reports as required by Management
  • Direct and assist dispatch employees with issues, especially after hours
  • Inputting checkpoints to monitor dispatch employees and ensure accuracy
  • Obtain no fewer than 6 Direct Outbound customers per year

$80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
