Posh Properties is a short-term real estate management group specializing in rental arbitrage and short-term rentals. Posh Properties is currently seeking a full-time, experienced maintenance technician to join our team. As a Home Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of short term rentals. You will be responsible for performing a range of maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance, to ensure the safety, functionality, and comfort of homes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular inspections of homes to identify and address any maintenance issues or potential hazards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to keep home systems and equipment in optimal condition.
- Respond promptly to management requests for repairs or maintenance issues, and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, and other home systems to identify the root cause of issues.
- Repair or replace defective components, parts, or fixtures using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including filter replacements, system checks, and inspections, to minimize future issues and extend the lifespan of home systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and associated costs.
- Collaborate with homeowners and communicate effectively to ensure their understanding of maintenance requirements and any recommended repairs or upgrades.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to home maintenance to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times to protect yourself, homeowners, and the property during maintenance activities.
- Assist with renovations as needed for newly acquired properties.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of home systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in home maintenance and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough inspections and accurate record-keeping.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with management and address their concerns.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet management needs is a must.
- Flexibility to accommodate management schedules and occasional availability for emergency repairs.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to them rigorously to maintain a safe working environment.
