Job Summary:
The warehouse assembler is responsible for assembling and packing glass and aluminum products in a warehouse environment.

This role involves working as part of a team to ensure that products are assembled according to customer specifications and are ready for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble glass and aluminum products according to customer specifications
Operate hand and power tools, such as drills, saws, and grinders, to cut and shape materials
Measure and cut materials to size using measuring tapes and saws
Ensure products meet quality standards before they are packaged and shipped
Work with team members to complete assembly tasks efficiently
Package finished products using appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transportation
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety procedures and protocols to prevent workplace accidents and injuries
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Good handeye coordination and dexterity
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
Strong communication skills
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Salary:
$18.00-$19.00 per hour

Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- handling power tools used for assembly: 1 year (required)
- handling glass equipment: 1 year (required)
- assembling windows or doors: 1 year (required)
