Job purpose
The Communication and Event Planner works closely with the HR Manager to coordinate all critical aspects involved in ensuring that events go as smoothly as planned.
The associate is tasked with planning and follow through with all the details before and after each event.Duties and Responsibilities
The associate's primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
- Event planning, design, and execution within project delivery time limits.
- Propose ideas to improve event quality and provided services.
- Manage all event's details such as decoration, catering, entertainment, transportation, location setup, equipment, and event material.
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure a smooth event execution
- Coordinate all logístical elements of the event.
- Manage setup, teardown, and cleanup operations.
- Prepare event budgets and processing invoices for payments.

- Manage and execute the company's surveys.
- Manage the RDJ Hiring Tracker and followup with the probation evaluations.
- Manage the company announcements online, on TV and on notice boards.
- Manage the SEDEX Audit and other Audits as required.
- Prepare controlled documents of HR forms.
- Assist in policy development and updating the master list of documents.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Degree in hospitality, public relations, management, or related field.
- Experience in project management with a track record of successful events.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, outofthebox thinking.
- Ability to lead a large team and delegate tasks effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Expert time management skills.
- Financial savvy, with the ability to adhere to plan budgets and process invoices.
