We have an opening for an experienced Material Handler to join our team in Newmarket

Duties:

Operate Forklift, bed movers (certification required), handcarts, and hydraulic jacks
Daily inspection and upkeep of forklift and bed movers
Safe transport and storage of goods received, coils, boxes, etc.
Weigh coil & accurate documentation
Packaging product and stacking goods
Distributing raw materials to production lines in a timely fashion
Inventory/cycle counts as required
Moving of all finished product to shipping areas
Proper stock rotation of all materials used for production.
General housekeeping of work area
Other duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must possess strong forklift skills
Strong organizational skills
Effective communicator with staff as well as all levels of management
Strong attention to detail and good problemsolving skills
Thrives working in a very fastpaced environment
Flexible to changing needs of the department
Willingness to work to meet deadlines
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times
Forklift and bedmover experience (3 years) and certification
Previous manufacturing experience an asset

Salary:
$18.00-$21.00 per hour
