Description
Reporting to the Structures Shop Supervisor, the Structures Technician is responsible for performing aircraft structure repairs, including sheet metal repairs and fabrications.

Responsibilities
- Comply with all current approved data: Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, approved drawings and current manuals for repairs and approvals
- Identify and report abnormal or unusual occurrences on aircraft defects
- Responsible to collect all data, parts and tooling required for the task at hand
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience
- Transport Canada License with an S rating preferred, but will consider someone with an M1 rating
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations
- Five years of structural experience on pressurized aircraft preferred
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to understand engineering drawings is required
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset
Working Conditions
- Physically able to perform all listed job duties
- Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
- Exposure to chemicals for metal cleaning and painting
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and telephone
- Work in a shop environment with full range of movement including, but not limited to, bending, sitting, standing, lifting to a maximum of 50lbs, pushing and pulling daily
- Work performed both indoors and outdoors; employee must be able to adapt to all outdoor weather conditions
- Various shifts at a fast pace in order to meet service level requirements of the airline

Salary:
$17.50-$25.57 per hour
