Description

Silk and Snow is a Toronto-based e-commerce company that offers thoughtfully designed bedding products with a frictionless customer experience.

We are a small and highly collaborative team, looking to add a passionate, creative team member to join our marketing department as a Brand Videographer.

What You'll Do:

Be responsible for all aspects of highquality video content creation for a variety of different platforms and purposes, including but not limited to: ads, events coverage, organic social media content, etc.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to understand the project requirements and objectives
Plan and organize the shooting schedule
Frame shots and compose scenes to convey the intended message
Record highquality audio using microphones and other sound equipment
Edit video footage using video editing software
Ensure the final product meets the technical and creative specifications
Keep uptodate with the latest trends and technologies in videography
Pay close attention to details such as lighting, composition, and sound quality to ensure a polished final product
Manage and organize footage, files, and other assets related to a project

Who You Are:

24+ years of work in videography or content marketing
Postsecondary education in a relevant field is an asset
Significant expertise with video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and After Effects)
Knowledge of various video advertising platforms such as Facebook Ad Manager, Connected TV, and TikTok Ad Manager required
Knowledge of creating strong advertisements to engage customers on social media required
A storyteller with a passion for translating an established brand into highquality video
Proven ability to create engaging video content with a marketing focus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage video content production from conception to final execution
A team player with a strong sense of initiative with the ability to work independently on tasks, as well as part of a team
Ability to work and meet strict deadlines
Experience with working inhouse or within an agency setting creating highquality video content for a brand is an asset
Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset
Experience in the home and lifestyle space is considered a strong asset
