Reach True Business Value:
Understanding clients' main challenges

and developing solutions that help them reach true business value by working through the

phases of design, development integration, implementation, migration and product support

with a sense of urgency.

  • Agile Planning and Execution: Creating and executing agile plans where you are responsible
for installing and provisioning assets, testing, migrating to production, and day-two

operations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Basic level of knowledge in Security Intelligence/ Security Information and Event
Management (SIEM)

  • Basic knowledge of SIEM products
  • Familiar of SOC governance and SOC processes
  • Knowledge of SOC Ticketing Workflows
  • Demonstrating some knowledge about compliance issues and industry standards
frameworks (eg, ISO 27001/2)

  • Working understanding of technology used to monitor logs
  • An entry level knowledge of processes involved in prioritization, escalation, and
management of security incidents.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

An understanding of security technologies such as; firewalls, intrusion detection, content

filtering, anti-virus, mobile security, data loss prevention, bot-net detection, and other such

technologies in the security industry.

  • Consulting on security incident handling and management programs
  • Experience in management of a security operation center
  • Experience implementing SIEM technology and advise on best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of existing cloud platforms
The junior consultant, working under general supervision will develop competency to

become internal advisor to other IBM consultants and client teams. The consultant will

support implementation the IBM Security software at customers with as biggest focus to

make the customers successful with IBM Software.

As a junior consultant you will support identifying gaps in the current environment and

recommend best practices or solutions to reduce client risk and increase their ability to deal

with emerging threats and risks to the organization.
