ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
HR Administration
- Recruitment: validating offer requests, sending job ofers
- Provide support with onboarding and orientation of new employees.
- Administer benefits programs (enrollments and terminations) and communicate plans to employees.
- Administer time off records of employees.
- Administer HR Portal (SharePoint site) to keep the information updated.
- Help to coordinate employee training initiatives.
- Maintain employee records with accuracy
- Administer employee terminations and offboarding process as part of it.
- Provide support with reporting
- Answer employees' queries about HRrelated issues.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experience Requirements
- 2+ years of proven work experience as an HR Administrator/Benefits Administrator or relevant role.
- Experience with HRIS software such as BambooHR.
- Experience with benefits providers platforms, databases
Educational Requirements
- A university degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field such as business administration and psychology.
- Thorough knowledge of employment legislation in Canada.
Soft Skill Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects and follow deadlines.
- Must have exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Must have proven organizational ability and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive material in an appropriate manner.
- Must have proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Must be able to work well independently and in a team setting.
- Data accuracy and attention to details is an essential skill.
- Flexibility and the ability to work in an unstructured environment is ideal.
