Description

The change management and communications manager is responsible for managing, developing, and implementing the change management and communications strategies for the organization.

While reporting to the CHRO, the manager would be expected to support cross-functional projects, programs, and transformational activities.

The main objective of the change management and communications manager is to prepare, support, and equip people to adopt and use required changes, either through effective communications or change strategies and activities.

While no direct supervisory responsibilities, they must work with and through many others in the organization to succeed.


This is not a backfill role, so an opportunity for a self-starter to create and establish new best practices and approaches for Achievers.

You will have the opportunity to influence great change and communications in a rapidly growing organization.

We want you to carry the Achievers voice into all our internal messaging and change initiatives, creating two-way dialogue on the topics that matter most to our A-Players and the organization.

The following describes the key responsibilities of this role:


Change Management:


  • Collaborate with internal groups to formulate change management plans and activities to support new projects, programs, employee experiences, organization development and design, and other transformational activities
  • Assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders to integrate change management activities into project plans
  • Translate shortterm and longterm strategic plans into change management strategy and actionable implementation plans
  • Establish common change management practices, tools, and templates to enable all teams within the business

Internal Communications:


  • Research, write, edit, and measure impact of all internal communications
  • Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies, across hybrid and virtual scenarios, to effectively disseminate information and foster employee engagement.
  • Town Halls, Annual Meeting, Directors meeting
  • Ensure consistent messaging and alignment with corporate objectives, values, and brand identity.
  • Establish processes and guidelines for communication and engagement within the business
  • Coach executive team on key message development and approach to internal communications

Key projects and programs (examples):


  • Support content development for and change management associated with employee value proposition
  • Align corporate narrative for CSR/ESG and develop content for internal, external, and client communications

Skills and Attributes:


  • Excellent writing, editing, oral communications, communications planning skills
  • Organized and able to independently manage projects or advise other projects on change management and communications
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manger to technical and nontechnical audience
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization and influence others to work towards common goals
  • Shown flexibility and adaptability to work in ambiguous situations
  • Know how to measure the impact and resonance of your work
