The Opportunity
Picton Mahoney is looking for an Investment Intern to join our talented Equity team this summer.

The successful individual will have the opportunity to broaden their understanding of the asset management industry, gain valuable experience in and build a strong foundation in equity research, learn to analyze data and how to effectively articulate results.

To optimize learning and ensure an enriching experience, this will be a hybrid internship, located at our Head office in Toronto.

Responsibilities of the Role

Provide support by researching and evaluating equities for the firm's portfolios.
Collaborate with and provide support to the analysts and portfolio managers, as required.
Research processoriented ideas generated by our quantitative investment process.
Conduct financial analysis (relative value, financial modelling, etc.) for the research team.

The Qualifications and Experience Required

Must be registered in fulltime studies at a recognized postsecondary institution.
Currently pursuing an undergraduate/post secondary education (3rd or 4th year student) in Business, Finance, Economics, Math, or equivalent program.
Robust analytical skills and the ability to effectively present insights and results.
Exhibits a demonstrated and highlevel intellectual curiosity when researching new topics.
Demonstrated ability to be a team player.
Strong organizational skills, selfmotivated and results driven.
Strong computer skills and proficient with Excel.
Excellent time management, problem solving, and verbal and written communication skills.
