Allnorth is currently seeking an experienced surveyor for project work based in Ottawa and surrounding areas.


Ideally you would be able to conduct a broad range of field surveyors including construction, highway, bridge site plan, topographical, volumetric, preliminary planning, design, control and boundary.

Responsibilities include accurately recording measurements and other data, preparing field notes, quality control for survey work, and compiling and computing survey data.

Depending upon your experience, you may be called upon to conduct field training, supervise the work of Junior Surveyors, act as Crew Chief, and/ or provide crew coordination.


What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Minimum 47 years of construction surveying experience is required
  • Diploma in Geomatics Engineering of Surveying Technology, or equivalent field training with experience working construction crews as a Party Chief
  • Registration as a Professional Survey Technologist is an asset
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Technical competence and attention to detail
  • A high level of dependability
  • A driver's license is required for this position
  • Attention to safety
