Grand Erie's 2800 employees provide quality education to approximately 26,000 full-time equivalent students who attend our 72 schools. The Board spans a geographic area encompassing the City of Brantford and the Counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk. The head office is located in Brantford. The Board is currently seeking a full-time PowerSchool Coordinator.


Responsibilities:


Qualifications:


  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Data Systems/OnSIS Lead capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and coordinate the daytoday work a for a team of four
  • Proficiency in student registration, demographics, OCAS/OUAC reporting, attendance procedures and regulations, achievement, scheduling and transcripts
  • Thorough knowledge of OEN and OnSIS processes
  • Prior experience creating training plans, learning modules and test plans
  • Stay up to date on PowerSchool core version and provincial reporting updates, schedule testing and production installs
  • Maintain PowerSchool/OnSIS documentation, including PowerSchool/OnSIS calendar of events, training resources for staff portal
  • Complete OnSIS and Board Audit requests in a timely manner
  • Ability to provide appropriate supports and direction to external stakeholders and vendors as required
  • Attend weekly PSUG (PowerSchool User Group) meetings and PowerSchool Ontario Advisory virtual calls
  • Register as active OASBO member to stay uptodate on Enrollment / Admissions
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal in English) and organizational skills
  • Possesses keen analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to prioritize simultaneous demands

  • Demonstrated tact, diplomacy and ability to deescalate difficult situations
  • Demonstrated flexibility and commitment to meeting reporting deadlines, which may require occasional overtime.

Job Specifications

Hours of Work

  • 7 hours per day/35 hours per week; 12 month assignment
    Rate of Pay
- $78,249 to $88,919 (pending review)
