Who we are:


What you'll do:


You will provide strategic leadership to your team and local Co-op Senior Leaders in order to grow sales, margin, and improve profitability in their designated zone.


  • You will improve the EBITDA results for the local Coops using an area of influence in the FCL budget.
  • You will provide strategic leadership to achieve budgeted local Coop sales and margin within the designated zone.
  • You will collaborate with the Senior Operations Advisors and engage local Coop GM/CEOs to review and approve sales action plans identifying internal and outreach sales growth opportunities.
  • You will work with local Coop GM/CEOs, in support of the work being done by the Operation Advisor and local Coop Team Leaders, to develop action plans and operational reviews addressing the EBITDA improvement opportunities.
  • You will coach local Coop Team Leaders to identify and execute on operational efficiencies and manage staff costs. You will also coach Operation Advisor on effective implementation and followup with the local Coops resulting in EBITDA improvements.
  • You will regularly followup with the Operation Advisor and store GM's/CEOs on the progress of said action plans and report progress to the Senior Operations Manager.
  • You will coordinate information ascertained by the Operation Advisor to share sales building tools throughout the CRS.
  • You will provide feedback to Home Office regarding local market conditions, competitive pricing and marketing activity, policy and program recommendations and sales promotion ideas.
  • You will support the Operations Advisory team as a liaison between local Coops and various Home Office departments as required.
  • You will coordinate the activity of the Operation Advisor to ensure the timely completion of all required projects, goals and reports, including call reports, LBM reviews, CASM analysis, and sales reports.
  • You will communicate CRS objectives, programs and culture to the Operation Advisor and Home Office teams to drive the success of the programs.
  • You will provide leadership to Operation Advisors and local Coops for renovations, expansions, and replacement/greenfield stores.
  • You will work with Zone Finance, Retail Advisors and Local Coop GM/CEOs on development of the required executive summary, feasibility and all other support documentation that may be required.
  • You will investigate leads for new locations through local Coops, Independents, and market knowledge throughout the designated zone.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing.
  • You have a minimum of 8+ Years of relevant progressively responsible experience in retail store operations (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
