The Opportunity


We are looking for a service technician in this region to satisfy our customers and support our internal business units.


Qualifications or Skill Required:


  • Must be an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • Heavy-Duty Journeyperson certificate
  • Ability to pass security and drug screening to gain access to sites
  • General ability to perform repairs on LP systems, diesel systems, reading and repairing hydraulic and electrical
schematics and systems

  • Valid driver's license supported by Driver's Abstract
  • Previous Aerial & Lift Truck experience
  • Previous experience working on skid steers is required
  • Strong computer and trouble shooting skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Able to contribute positively to a quality team environment
  • A selfstarter and able to work under mínimal supervision

Responsibilities:


  • Adhere to site specific safety rules, regulations, and permit requirements at all times
  • Document all information regarding customer damage to equipment for cost recovery
  • Attend daily safety toolbox meetings on site as required
  • Regular communication with Service Manager
  • Completes all necessary warranty paperwork as instructed by the warranty administrator
  • Sustain a manageable level of billable time, flexible for any required overtime as required
  • In the event of a safety incident, immediately contact Service Manager, and complete all necessary paperwork in the Leavitt Safety Program
  • Tracks and followsup on parts for ongoing repairs
  • On Warranty jobs, ensures parts are returned
  • Represent Leavitt Machinery
