You will be required to perform maintenance and repairs to the Corporation's facilities, structures and grounds including carpentry, plumbing, painting and masonry work.
Duties include but are not limited to:
finished carpentry and cabinet work, installation of doors, siding and flooring, roofing and ceiling repairs, dry walling, building repairs, constructing chain link fences and concrete, grounds maintenance including landscaping and snow removal, preparing cost estimates, reading blueprints and performing other building trade related duties.
You may be required to work at heights up to 130m and in confined spaces. All other duties related to or associated with this classification.
You are responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the company's Safety and Health Program and are responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.
You have a high school graduation supplemented by journeyperson certification in carpentry and previous working experience in the industrial/utility environment.
You have completed training in WHIMS, Emergency First Aid, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Environmental Awareness and Confined Space Entry would be an asset.
You possess an appropriate valid driver's license.**CLOSING DATE: April 24, 2023
