We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated
Administrative Facilitator who demonstrates our values of compassion, accountability, responsiveness and empowerment; to our clients, families and each other.


The
Administrative Facilitator is working as part of a team alongside other administrators, you will provide a welcoming and knowledgeable presence while facilitating access and operations of the EarlyON Programs and the Beasley Community Centre.

This position is a
non-unionized,
permanent, part-time position. The rate of pay is $20.81 per hour.

**Key Responsibilities: - Complete or co-ordinate various administrative duties as assigned

  • Be a resource and provide direction for callers or program participants about community services or other Wesley services.
  • Assist with the admission of participants to programs on site.
  • Facilitate program registration or sign in processes as required
  • Welcome, support and interact with clients, always being sensitive to all families including those culturally diverse, LGBTQ, young parents, etc.
  • Update Wesley's Children and Family Services website as required: ensure monthly calendars are posted and old documents are removed.
  • Create and post content on Social Media (YouTube, Facebook) based on a predetermined schedule. Interact with followers and other organizations in a professional manner on social media
  • Prepare reports as requested by Manager, Children and Family Services or Director, Children, Youth & Family Services.
  • Keep information up to date on Provincial Early Years, Wesley Children and Family Services and other websites as required.

What you will bring:


  • Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Extensive knowledge and ability to troubleshoot computer and internet operations.
  • Diploma or university degree relating to Office Administration. Minimum of 2 years of current experience.
  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok)
  • Excellent knowledge of community resources for families with children and youth eighteen years of age and under. Experience and sensitivity working with all families.
Current First aid/CPR, N.V.C.I. training. Current drivers' license and vehicle.
