    As a Respiratory Biologics Sales Specialist you'll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives.

    Building on a 50-year heritage in respiratory care, our ambition is to transform the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) by driving earlier, biology-led treatment, eliminating preventable asthma attacks, and removing COPD as a top-three leading cause of death.

    AstraZeneca is following the science of common pathways and underlying disease drivers from respiratory disease into immunology-driven disease areas.

    As part of our flagship Ambition Zero Carbon program, we have committed to a fully electric vehicle (EV) fleet by the end of 2025, which means that all of our drivers will be assigned an EV.

    You will function independently with a high degree of sales proficiency to drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.

    You will successfully complete training requirements, including product examinations.

    You will capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic targeting plans by using a wide variety of promotional, personnel resources and analytical tools to improve efficiency in assigned sales territory, based on local assessment of customer needs.

    Work with other Respiratory Biologics Sales Specialists around common objectives to coordinate selling efforts and partner very closely with Field Reimbursement managers to ensure seemly delivery of our biologics medicines to our customers.

    Bachelor's degree
    At least three years of documented, full-time, successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales AND/OR 3 yrs. experience in scientific/clinical/healthcare environment AND/OR 3 yrs. Track record of engaging key stakeholders in complex clinical environments (mid to senior level healthcare professionals, key accounts and the medical community)
    Strong scientific acumen in a highly competitive environment
    A valid driver's license and safe driving record
    Internal candidate must be a minimum of Career Level 2

    Proven experience and mastery in delivering a total office call
    Internal candidate Career Level 3 is preferred

    The annual base salary (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $102,000 - $160,000. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

    In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles).

    Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.

    Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
