Overview:

As a crucial part of the project team, this role focuses on generating precise and top-notch quotes, production documents, and other necessary information promptly and effectively. Collaborating closely with other team members, this position is vital in ensuring successful project completion and maintaining client satisfaction.
***General List of Responsibilities:
Estimating:
- Conduct a comprehensive technical review of drawings and specifications before providing quotations.
- Perform quantity takeoffs.
- Utilize Windowmaker software for cost preparation.
- Create bids and quotes.
Project Coordination:
- Identify the need for spec clarification letters if necessary and prepare them.
- Thoroughly review existing Specifications and Drawings.
- Ensure feasibility of Contracted items aligned with the Client's requirements.
- Develop accurate Supply Agreements/Contracts.
- Review shop drawings as needed.
- Update product configurations based on the most recent correspondence.
- Generate pull sheets and production sheets.
- Review glass order sheets before release.
- Collect essential information from sales representatives.
- Participate in meetings with Clients as necessary.
- Assist in change order pricing.
- Constantly enhance knowledge about the industry and products.
Qualifications:
- Background in building construction and/or building science is a plus.
- Proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Eligibility proof for ASTTBC.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiastic problem-solver, inquisitive, and eager to learn.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Technical, analytical, and organized with effective task prioritization.
- Strong time management and self-motivation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
