This is a full-time Support position (35 hours per week)
Duties
:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, Faculty of Access, Language and Regional Campuses, and working collaboratively with the Program Manager and WRIT Program Coordinator, the WRIT Program Assistant provides operational and clerical support to activities associated with the serviced courses offered in the School of Language and Liberal Studies.

This involves support for courses, including the Writing Curricula activities and Communications curricula activities as needed.
Qualifications**- Post-secondary 2-year diploma in Office Administration or Business Studies

  • Minimum 2 years' experience gained as a team player in a customer service environment
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Demonstrated problemsolving and effective communication skills
  • Experience with student registration systems preferred (e.g. Colleague UI, LFACs, WebAdvisor)
  • Demonstrated ability to work within time constraints and with high attention to detail
