Description

Professionally responds to potential and repeat guest inquires regarding reservations. Identifies the needs of the guest/caller and provides relevant information regarding hotel services and amenities. Inputs all requisite information into reservation management system.

Makes reservations for hotel guests based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
Explains to guest hotel amenities, room and stay options, and local attractions and events.
Processes payments and sends confirmation details to guests.
Enters requisite data into reservations management system.
Addresses any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
Sells and promotes hotel services.
Provides support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.

Manages difficult or emotional customer situations. Responds promptly to customer needs, requests for service and assistance. Delivers requested items to guests as needed including incoming faxes, mail, valet laundry, etc.

Qualifications:

High school diploma.
Experience working in sales or public relations preferred, preferably in the hospitality or travel industries.
Customer service experience with high degree of attention to details.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Multitasking and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Data entry experience.
