With over 40 years in Emergency Medical Services, Associated Ambulance is the 2nd largest Ambulance Operator in the province. We provide ALS & BLS services to 23 locations in rural Alberta. This is a permanent FTE 1.0 position scheduled to starting September 1, 2023 working out of our Fleet location. This is a Monday to Friday daytime schedule.


THE POSITION

This role includes such tasks as:

  • Determine and coordinate the course of action for each request based on pre-established guidelines, company policies & procedures
  • Maintain all company vehicle files
  • Coordinate vehicle pick ups and delivery
  • Coordinate delivery and pick up of supplies supporting all company locations
  • Analyze and record repair authorization requests
  • Provide repair and maintenance recommendations
  • Keep accurate records of fleet vehicle maintenance history
  • Ensure all repair information and system data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner
  • Update annual vehicle inspections database

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Possess a strong Customer Service focus
  • Critical thinker with strong problemsolving abilities
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and requests
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Service or Mechanical experience will be an asset
