Project admin lead PD
Position Responsibilities
- Managing a team of geographically dispersed staff in various time zones across Canada.
- Assigning work and resources to meet deliverables requirements and responding to changing priorities.
- Liaising with project leads, including document control to understand schedule and activities.
- Ensuring all tasks as completed within required timeframes.
- Monitoring the quality of the work delivered by PAG.
- Providing training to new PAG members in all aspects of their role.
- Supporting the wider project teams in use of document management tools and procedures.
- Formatting documents and completing handson administration tasks when required.
- 5+ years of project administration experience, preferably in an engineering/construction/rail environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in assertively managing a team of a least 5 Project Admins.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including experience in developing and formatting documents.
- Experience with systems such as SharePoint, Aconex or other collaborative project management tools and EDMS.
- Outstanding communication and relationship building skills; ability to participate at a management level.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements.
