Project admin lead PD
Position Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of geographically dispersed staff in various time zones across Canada.
  • Assigning work and resources to meet deliverables requirements and responding to changing priorities.
  • Liaising with project leads, including document control to understand schedule and activities.
  • Ensuring all tasks as completed within required timeframes.
  • Monitoring the quality of the work delivered by PAG.
  • Providing training to new PAG members in all aspects of their role.
  • Supporting the wider project teams in use of document management tools and procedures.
  • Formatting documents and completing handson administration tasks when required.
Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of project administration experience, preferably in an engineering/construction/rail environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in assertively managing a team of a least 5 Project Admins.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including experience in developing and formatting documents.
  • Experience with systems such as SharePoint, Aconex or other collaborative project management tools and EDMS.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills; ability to participate at a management level.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail a must.
