Job Summary:
This position is funded through Ontario's Job Creation Partnerships (see more details below). Reporting to the Administrative Manager, provide administrative support, oversee client relations, and support ticketing functions.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the Client Services Coordinator.
  • Assist with receiving and directing festival inquiries, mail, and courier services.
  • Maintain and update the existing electronic filing system.
  • Assist in strengthening relationships with existing community contacts.
  • Assists in maintaining and updating community contact lists.
  • Complete box office ticketing orders as requested.
  • Update website event listings.
  • Onsite support during the Music and Beyond Summer Festival.

Skills and Qualifications Required:


  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and communication skills in English, strong verbal and written skills in French is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment. Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Experience with Wordpress an asset.

Eligible to participate in Ontario's Job Creation Partnership (JCP) program by meeting the following criteria:

  • An unemployed job seeker or those employed less than 20 hours per week.

  • Live in Ontario and legally authorized to work in Canada.

Have one, or both, of the following criteria:
a. Previously established an Employment Insurance (EI) benefit claim (regular benefits within the last three years or maternity/parental within the last five years), and/or

b.

Previously employed in Canada in five of any the last ten calendar years while earned a gross income in excess of $2000 in each calendar year.

Salary:
$16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

  • Monday to Friday
