Truck and Transport Mechanic Apprentice Opportunity at Department of Public Works in Nova Scotia
Responsibilities under supervision:
- Repairing equipment like excavators, snow plows, graders, and loaders
- Supporting preventative maintenance program
- Working on electronic controls and computer diagnostics
Requirements:
Completion of a recognized Truck and Transport Repair program
Assets: Work experience with heavy trucks and equipment operation
Assessment tools: written examination, tests, oral presentations, interviews, reference checks
