The Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis will work with senior members of the finance team to extract, analyze, and interpret data; identify trends; and make recommendations based on findings.
What will you do?
- Extract, analyze, and translate business data into cohesive narratives in written and visual forms (memos, document packages, and slide decks).
- Understand and assist in the creation of financials models.
- Verify integrity of data sets.
- Effectively communicate insights to supervisor or other project stakeholders.
- Support corporate messaging with routine communications: lender presentations, quarterly stakeholder presentations, senior leadership meetings, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What do we look for?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
- Familiarity with statistical/financial modeling.
- Proficiency with graphical/typesetting tools to create professional slide decks and informational packages.
- Knowledge of visualization tools to create effective charts, tables, and graphs.
- Ability to translate business or market data into nontechnical terms and visuals.
- Ability to quickly package informational (numbers or other data) material for internal and external circulation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to function well in a highpaced and at times stressful environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Desire for continuing education and personal development.
