KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Review workloads and assign appropriate staff to complete the repairs, maintenance, or trip and brake inspections in a timely fashion;
  • Monitor equipment servicing repairs, by auditing staff and completed tasks;
  • Ensure appropriate material is onsite to expedite repairs;
  • Plan work schedules and assignments to ensure that equipment is being serviced within the maintenance guidelines;
  • Perform audits and safety walks
  • Monitor work order completion using Maximo, and employees' timekeeping using Kronos.
  • Ensure trains are dispatch ready and dispatched on time

REQUIRED PROFILE:


  • Postsecondary preferred but a minimum of Grade 12;
  • You have three (3) to four (4) years in the Railway industry;
  • Excellent English communication skills, advanced both written and spoken.
