    Title: Senior Cloud Streaming Kafka Developer

    Location: Mississauga, ON

    Type: Hybrid

    Are you a seasoned Senior Kafka Developer with a passion for building high-performance streaming solutions? Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in deploying and managing Kafka clusters on GCP and AWS.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Streaming Kafka New Request:

    • Provide comprehensive end-to-end deployment support for new topic requests to business units.
    • Handle configuration-based system setup for seamless integration.
    • Ensure thorough onboarding and Kafka documentation for all new requests.

    Cloud Streaming Kafka Foundation:

    • Develop and implement standards for GCP foundation modules.
    • Build and manage high message rate clusters (Quantity 2) for staging and production environments on both GCP and AWS.
    • Create multi-purpose clusters (Quantity 2) for staging and production on both GCP and AWS.
    • Deliver extensive documentation and knowledge transfer to relevant teams.

    Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of experience with development using Kafka.
    • Proven experience with Kafka deployment and cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
    • Strong understanding of real-time data processing and streaming data solutions.
    • Excellent documentation and communication skills for effective Kafka onboarding.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
