The Team:
The Market Intelligence Platform and Channels (PC) Technology organization provides data technology and services supporting acquisition, ingestion, content management, mastering and distribution to power our business line and customer needs.
Focus on platform scale to support business lines through a common data lifecycle that accelerates business value. The office strives to provide new insight to our customers through data discovery, research, and integrated access.In certain cases, the office will utilize capital investment on key initiatives to deliver immediate value or remediate high risk areas through structured programs.
Maintains a focus on innovation to keep ahead of market trends and disruptive technologies.What's in it for you:
The Delivery Manager role within the Data Management product at S&P Global is located within the products' management group and reports directly to the head of program management for the Platforms & Channels division.
The Delivery manager is responsible for organizing multiple development teams to follow agile practice, enabling, and empowering them to deliver high quality software in a timely, cost-effective manner.
Through coaching and the management of scrum masters located within the development teams the manager will foster a culture of continuous improvement and transparency.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that product development work is delivered to time and budget with full transparency of dependencies, risks and priorities.
Participate as part of the product's management team by meeting regularly with the product manager, head of product development, product owners, client services, and head of technical operations.
Foster a culture of self-organization and continuous improvement.
Support Product Manager and Product Owners across the Product to build accurate roadmaps.
Undertake Project Management of product level initiatives. Organize, convey status, and drive work to a successful conclusion.
Assist smaller teams that are not big enough to require dedicated AGILE staff by organizing them using limited light touch agile practice.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience managing AGILE practice and scrum masters across multiple teams.
Possess a bachelor's degree or relevant related experience.
AGILE certification.
Strong oral and written communications skills. Experience and proven ability to work with technology professionals.
Project management acumen to work with various stakeholders and manage multiple internal contributors
Positive, can-do professional attitude.
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
Ability to guide staff outside of your reporting line to deliver.
Focus on delivery, quality, and timeliness.
