RESPONSIBILITIES:
The seasonal position of a Seafood Processing Team Member works with fresh and frozen fillets, fresh and frozen bait, herring roe, and pickled herring while using state-of-the-art fish grading, filleting, and packaging equipment.
As a Seafood Processing Team Member, you will work to receive, process, pack, and prepare seafood products relating to the production line as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous production experience is considered an asset
- High level of pride in the work that you do
- Reliable, punctual, and ability to work to timelines
- Positive, friendly and courteous
- Have a strong work ethic
- Good verbal communication skills
- Safety conscious and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Must also be able to climb, kneel, reach, crouch, crawl or work in confined spaces.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Working Schedule:
Hours of work vary based on production needs. Some evenings & weekends during peak season. (Overtime hours available)
