CONSTRUCTION DIVISION

Labourer / Flagperson

Full-time/Seasonal position

Mains Duties & Responsibilities:

ACP Applied products has facilities located in Acheson, Stony Plain, Morinville, and Leduc. We are hiring for individuals to join our operation located in Stony Plain, AB.

Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED an asset
Must own reliable transportation
Must successfully complete drug and alcohol and fit test. *Note: This includes the use of marijuana, medical or non. As this is a safety sensitive position there is a zero tolerance policy in place for cannabis use
Valid Class 5 (Non-GDL) Driver's License is required
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Ability to perform manual labour (ability to lift up to 40kg/90lbs)
Willing to work out of town (Work in AB, BC, SK, YT, NWT & MB)
Willing to work night shifts if required
Experience with safety regulations and safe practices is an asset
Ability to work in uncertain outdoor conditions
Ability to work overtime hours

WORK SCHEDULE

Our work schedule is typically 6 days on and 1 day off each week. ACP Applied Products is a federally registered motor carrier, and as such follows the National Safety Code (NSC) Commercial Vehicle Standards, including the Hours of Service Regulations, which allows for 70 hours of work in a 7 day cycle._
