Overview:


Gauvreau's migration team specializes in transferring key client accounting data from legacy financial systems and bringing it into our chosen cloud solution QuickBooks Online (QBO).

We have partnered with various software developers to work alongside them in moving clients into the cloud in a successful way that minimizes downtime and provides the client with a strong sense of thoroughness on our part.

We continue to develop relationships to push this aspect of our business forward as we seek to work on finding cloud accounting solutions for every type of business we work with.

Our process invoices successful extraction of a client's financial data, support about how these types of migrations proceed, parsing and formatting data, and uploading that data to QBO using a specialized tool.

Job description:


Client Management

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
  • Providing comfort and ease to clients throughout the duration of process.

Workflow

  • Being proactive with capacity planning:
  • Proposals for workload
  • Approval of Team members vacation and time off
  • Training new hires
  • Creating and Meeting deadlines
  • Delegation of workload
  • Performance reviews
  • Performance planning (performance improvement plan _if necessary_)
  • Reviewing employee output and quality control
  • Onboarding process
  • Ability to define what we handle and what our service/software partners handle.
  • Make a judgement call on the time needed to complete the work and update necessary.
  • While being mindful of the minimum ideal fee received per hour on the file and updating systems to reflect.
  • Advanced knowledge of performance management software (Karbon preferred).
  • Support team/departmental workflow process engagement by effectively using workflow software.
  • Ability to maneuver in workflow software, update notes and assign dates as needed.
  • Ability to organize the upcoming dates and communicate with those involved.
  • Ensure the client's work is completed on time.
  • Contribute to innovation, engage in improving how we do things.

Leadership

  • Be proactive on professional development plans for team members.
  • Responsible for assigning work and training cycles to team members.
  • Collaborating with the Lead on assessing quality of the team member's work.
  • Mentor entire team and encourage team member ownership of duties.
  • Being accessible to your team and relying on your team to ensure clients receive excellent service.

Communication

  • Ability to coordinate with service/software partners and CA on migration expectations.
  • Update client on progression and roadblocks.
  • Collaborative with all levels of the firm.
