Job Description:


Reporting to the Director, HR Employee Service Centre, the Manager HR Solutions & Optimization will play a pivotal role in identifying and driving solutions to key HR operational issues related to HR processes and systems.

They will be liaising with our LTC and Home Care operations teams to identify, analyze and drive solutions for complex workforce administration issues.

Further, they will collaborate in driving a customer-service focused culture for the HR Employee Service Center.


This full-time position will be located at our Head Office in Markham, Ontario and will have flexibility for both remote and in-office work based on our hybrid work model.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of HR analysts/specialists to work collaboratively with internal HR teams to develop solutions to HR operational issues impacting LTC and Home Care operations teams
  • Drive the approach and business process solutioning, develop action plans and see issues through to resolution.
  • Design strategies and implement processes to enhance the employee experience throughout the full HR lifecycle.
  • Use data to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives for the HR Employee Service Centre and HR Operations.
  • Partner with the business in understanding operational issues, uncover root causes and collaborate on ensuring solutions provided meet business needs.
  • Drive internal communication improvements aimed at improved visibility into operational issues, better information sharing amongst teams and Communicate broader HR initiatives and programs with impacts to workforce transaction processes to the HR Service Center Analysts

Requirements:


  • Post-Secondary education in HR or Business Administration with 5+ years experience working in a Shared Services environment with considerable crossfunctional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated success driving a customerservice focused agenda and developing a culture of excellence.
  • Ability to think strategically, develop tactical action plans and see solutions through to completion.
  • Strong project management skills, highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to partner with the business and internal functional teams.
  • Proven ability to provide insights and contribute to datadriven decision making.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement processes and methodologies with demonstrated experience in driving the same.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, etc. considered an asset.
  • Ability to maneuver in an ambiguous environment and to operate with mínimal direction.
  • Team player who is highly motivated and enjoys working both independently and collaboratively.
