This is an exciting role within a Casino Environment where you will use your strong customer service background, verbal communication and interpersonal skills to respond to client inquiries and requests.


In providing this support you will:

  • Educate casino guests regarding the three core concepts of gambling to encourage safe play and prevent problem play and over expenditure.
  • Assesses the needs of visitor to determine appropriate course of action.
  • Deliver problem gambling staff training to casino staff as required at all levels
  • Plan appropriate intervention strategies for guests exhibiting problem gambling behaviors by consulting with casino staff and other appropriate professionals
  • Assist any individuals who phone or visit the casino with concerns about a family member who may be having difficulty with gambling.
  • Investigates current community resources on a provincial bases and shares information with colleagues
  • Assists in developing and maintaining a resource library of gambling related material
Succeeding as a Customer Support Coordinator will require the following core qualifications and skills:

  • A Bachelor's degree, community college diploma or equivalent post-secondary education (i.e. social work, psychology, etc.)
  • Thrive on providing exceptional customer service, combined with the ability to communicate clearly to our clients and colleagues.
  • Knowledgeable with MS Windows (Word & Excel).
  • Can work in a fast paced, client facing environment.
  • Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)
  • All applicants must be flexible to work shifts ranging from Days to Late-Evenings, with potential shifts occurring Mon
  • Sun.


Where permitted by law, company employees must be fully immunized to access a TELUS Health or LifeWorks office or customer premises.
